Use of this site
You may use this website for lawful purposes. Do not attempt to interfere with its operation, gain unauthorized access to our systems, or use the contact form to send unsolicited commercial messages.
Intellectual property
The content of this website is owned by ovrEngineered, LLC unless otherwise noted. Software we publish as open source is licensed under the terms accompanying it in its repository.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Messaging Terms (SMS)
Program description
ovrEngineered, LLC operates SMS notification programs on behalf of its products. The active program is PatrolKit, operations software for ski patrol organizations.
PatrolKit sends operational text messages to members of a subscribing patrol organization. These include shift and duty-schedule notifications, coverage requests and reminders, patrol-wide announcements and alerts from patrol leadership, and event-related updates such as ski swap logistics. These are operational and informational messages. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
How consent is obtained
PatrolKit is invite-only. A patrol director or administrator invites a member to join their organization. During account setup, the member may provide a mobile phone number and affirmatively opt in to receive text notifications. Providing a mobile number is optional, and consent to receive text messages is not a condition of membership or of using PatrolKit.
We send text messages only to numbers whose owners have opted in through this process. We do not purchase, rent, or otherwise acquire phone numbers from third parties.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on your patrol's activity and your role within it. Volume is typically higher during the operating season and around scheduled events.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. ovrEngineered does not charge for these messages; any charges come from your mobile carrier under your own plan.
How to stop receiving messages
Reply STOP to any message to be unsubscribed. You will receive one confirmation message and then no further texts from that program. You may also remove your mobile number or turn off text notifications in your PatrolKit account settings.
To resume messages after unsubscribing, reply START, or re-enable text notifications in your account settings.

Carriers and delivery
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier's network and your device, and we cannot guarantee that every message will arrive.

Our messages are supported on major U.S. wireless carriers. Carrier participation may change without notice.
Privacy
Mobile information and SMS opt-in data are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details.
